Direct Public Access

Certain members of these Chambers can now be instructed directly without the need for them to first see a Solicitor. This process is known as Direct Public Access and has extended the right to instruct Barristers directly to members of the general public.

Barristers are trained as specialist advocates and advisers and there are now certain cases where it might be beneficial for you to go to acknowledged experts in various fields to progress your litigation or legal problems further.

The cases can often be agreed on a fixed fee basis giving clients substantial peace of mind that legal costs are not running out of control.

A wide range of matters are covered by the Scheme and these would include Employment, Commercial and Property matters but would NOT include issues to do with either Family or Criminal law.
