Alice is a common law practitioner accepting instructions in a variety of different areas.
Employment
Alice enjoys a growing employment law practice, undertaking both Claimant and Respondent work. She regularly appears in the Employment Tribunals throughout the South of England and has lectured on many employment topics. She is a supporter of the Pro Bono tradition within our legal system and regularly advises on employment matters for the Citizens Advice Bureau. Due to the limited resources of many Claimants, Alice accepts instructions in accordance with Chambers Limited Means Scheme where appropriate.
Civil
Alice accepts instructions across a breadth of civil work. She has experience in contract, personal injury and landlord and tenant. She frequently appears in small claims and fast track trials, disposals and directions hearings. Alice has acted for Housing Associations and local authority landlords and is keen to continue developing her housing law practice.
Crime
Alice undertakes both prosecution and defence work. She has particular experience in prosecuting for non-CPS agencies including many local authorities, the Department of Work and Pensions and the National Probation Service.
