I practice exclusively in local government work in which my main area of specialism is town and country planning and environmental law. In these fields I have a wide experience in a variety of work, largely (but not exclusively) on behalf of Local Authorities including section 78 inquiry work and enforcement including through the civil litigation. Special interest in planning and environmental issues within the coastal zone and marine environment. I am available to accept instructions via the Planning and Environment Bar Free Representation Unit
I also have experience in other areas of local government work, particularly public rights of way and Definitive Map Modification Orders in which I am especially interested.
